What’s up, y’all!
Okay, last race you have to hear about for a while, I promise. But I got third place in my age group at the Houston Spartan Sprint! I only wanted to check out my strengths and weaknesses on the obstacle course, so I could train and conquer the next one, but I somehow found my way to the podium anyway! This was a 5k, 20 obstacle race, and it was a blast. Training for a 10k, 25 obstacle course next time, but no set date yet.
For now, races are done, and I’m going to relax and enjoy the rest of this trip.
We’re camping in the Meridian State Park this week with one of gnob’s childhood friends who moved to Texas from Oregon. Earlier this week, we also met up with one of gnob’s buddies. After spending nearly two weeks with my family, I’m sure he was glad to go visit someone else! 🤣
We had a great time in Louisiana, but we’ve now turned the Snale back towards Oregon. We’re not eager to return to the cold weather, but it has to be done. We’ve come to a decision about what we’re going to do next, and so we need to get back to Oregon. Stay tuned to hear more about what’s coming, we’re really excited for what we’re doing next, and I think you will be, too.
Video of the Week
2 sisters face off on which way to camp is better
We had a great time poking fun at each other while making this video.

yes, I know this is a cover, but I like this version
It's been a long time coming but I know a change is gonna come
It's always fun hearing what you are up to. We are spoiled RVers, traveling when we can in a 35 foot Allegro Open Road, but love reading about all kinds of adventures. :)
