What’s up, everyone! The firefighters have been kicking some butt out there, and we were able to get a reprieve from the smoke. So we took the Snale out to the river for a bit of relaxation, and to try out some new camping gear.
What does that mean for you?
It means new vids, coming soon!
We think we’ve scored the ultimate table and chair setup for camping, and we can’t wait to share it with you. We sincerely hope it works out as good in real life as it has in our heads!🤣
The McGrew Wagon Trail
If you’ve never done McGrew, you’re in for a treat. This old wagon trail crosses the mountains to the coast in southern Oregon. If you want to run it, you’ll need to get a special permit from the forest ranger to gain access, but it’s a simple, free process.
Gnob has been crawling the McGrew trail with the Jefferson State Cruisers since 2005, and jess joined him for the first time in 2015. Ask her sometime about her bear encounter during the 2019 run.🐻😱
The above video is from our 2020 run. Special thanks to Green Bastard TV (front and center in the vid above!) for sharing footage with us. That day, we were a small group of trucks that had all done McGrew before, so we bombed through it in 4 1/2 hours, including lunch!
We love this kind of stuff! So, if you belong to a Toyota truck club (official or unofficial), we want to wheel with you! We’ll be traveling around the country, and we’d love to meet you and check out your rig!
Even if you don’t belong to a club, but you and your friends crawl Toyotas, let us know, and show us your favorite spots to get outside!
